TOM TRACY, THE WILLIAMSBURG COURIER'S INTREPID INVESTIGATIVE REPORTER

Silver mined (Headline)

Hundreds of dollars in classy silver dinnerware were removed from a home on Marcy Avenue last week.

A 19-year-old woman told police that someone had snuck into her home, located near Hewes Street between 11:40 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on January 28 while she was at work in Borough Park.

Whoever broke inside raided her china cabinet, taking a set of silver cups, a silver candlestick and a silver bowl.

The woman believed that the thief entered through the front door, which she admitted was left unsecured.

Cops were searching for the thief as this paper went to press.
